Angus is an experienced brand strategist and strategic marketing operator with over 14+ years of finding powerful ways for brands to showcase value and break into new audiences. As SVP of Marketing and Partnerships, Angus oversees the global brand and marketing strategy of GCL’s platform of brands guiding the creative, content, brand identity, sponsorship and partnership strategy across Live Events and Luxury Goods.

Prior to GCL, Angus was Senior Director of Global Partnerships at AEG, as well as Head of AEG Studios, the in-house creative and content agency he developed to provide digital programs across festivals, venues and tours. At AEG, Angus led livestream programming strategy across the global event landscape brokering deals with Amazon Prime, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and more to drive millions in revenue and reach millions of fans across the globe. Before AEG, Angus was Head of Brand Partnerships at Doppler Labs overseeing partnerships from the likes of Hans Zimmer, Tiesto, Coachella, UMG, and more for award-winning augmented reality audio products. He received a degree in Music Business and began his career in artist management and marketing for now GRAMMY-nominated artists such as Sofi Tukker, Party Favor, and many more.

In his personal life, Angus is married with one son, and enjoys family time in the PNW, long distance running, new music discovery and crab fishing. Angus grew up living in Canada, Chile, South Africa and the US, has visited 30+ countries and has a passion for travel and culture.
