Stew Heathcote

PRESIDENT OF LIVE EVENTS

Stew was named the President of Live Events, encompassing Live Performance Touring, Sports & Production, and Corporate Live Events in October of 2024. He is a veteran in the sports and entertainment industry with over 25 years of leadership experience within worldwide organizations supervising large teams while enabling growth, managing P&L, compliance & policy adherence, organizational planning and budget oversight. 

Stew most recently spent 20 years at AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, where he served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Global Partnerships Division. His responsibilities included all partnership sales, activation, marketing, fulfillment, budget & staff management, and digital / broadcast content across global concert tours, festivals, music venues and other assets of AEG & AEG Presents. In 2015, Heathcote helped create a groundbreaking global marketing campaign for the launch of Taylor Swift’s “The 1989 World Tour,” and American Express’ Unstaged app, which won an Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media. Other notable achievements at AEG include the growth of Coachella from a small festival, and record-setting partnership deals with American Express, and Google.

Before AEG, Heathcote spent five years with the San Francisco 49ers as Director of Marketing and Business Development. He oversaw corporate partnerships, brand marketing, game day entertainment, sponsorship activation, merchandising, cheer/mascot program, 49ers.com, publications, and events. In 2002, Heathcote won a Telly Award for Best Game Day Production. Prior to the 49ers, Heathcote spent two years with Adidas America as a Manager of Licensed Properties. He was responsible for creating and implementing strategic marketing plans working closely with the NFL and a number of its teams.

Heathcote currently lives in Los Angeles and was named to Billboard Magazine’s prestigious Brand Power Players in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and Variety Magazine’s Dealmakers Impact Report in 2016. He sits on the Board of the LMU Marketing School and the Dean’s Advisory Board at UCLA’s Sociology School.
