Heathcote joins GCL after almost 20 years at AEG/AEG Presents, where he led Global Partnerships.
Yeamans comes to GCL following more than a decade at Fanatics, where she built their legal department to support global expansion and diversification.
NEW YORK – GCL, the global leader in live events and luxury goods logistics operating under Rock-itCargo and associated brands, announced today the appointment of Stew Heathcote as President of Live Events, where he will oversee music, sports, film, and television, and Caren Yeamans as Chief Legal Officer. These key leaders join after storied careers at AEG and Fanatics and exemplify GCL’s investment to serve its customers and accelerate its growth strategy.
Heathcote will lead across the Rock-it Cargo, SOS, and Dynamic brands, bringing the verticals of music, sports, film, and television under unified leadership. For the last two decades, Heathcote was with AEG/AEG Presents, the second largest concert promoter in the world, where he was AEG’s SVP and Managing Director for Global Partnerships. He oversaw the Global Partnerships division of AEG Presents, as well as their content division, AEG Studios, where he managed the development of all content including live streams. His impact at AEG resulted in him being named multiple times as Billboard Magazine Brand Power Player and also to Variety Magazine’s Dealmakers Impact Report. Among other successes, Heathcote helped create a groundbreaking global marketing campaign for the launch of Taylor Swift’s “The1989 World Tour,” and American Express’ Unstaged app, which won an Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media. Prior to his time at AEG, Heathcote was a senior marketing executive of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, Adidas, and Reebok. He has also served as a GCL board member for the past two and a half years and is on the board at the LMU Marketing School and the Dean’s advisory board at UCLA’s Sociology School.

Yeamans joins GCL from Fanatics, where she spent more than a decade in charge of their legal function for their e-commerce and consumer products business. Fanatics hired Yeamans as the company’s first General Counsel where she led the strategic evolution of their legal and compliance functions during a period of global growth that saw the diversification of their business. Yeamans was key in negotiating exclusive rights deals with sports leagues, clubs, and teams, and supported the creation of new verticals of business, including sports gambling and collectibles.
